I am from New York City and use to eat Bean Pies at the Shabazz Restaurant. When discovered your website, I was delighted to know that you would be making out of town deliveries. I haven’t actually received my order yet, but I am sure that it’s on the way.

I order 3 pies for my home only received 2. I sent a pie to my fathers house. He has not received it yet. I ordered his first. I think the product is excellence. But the way it’s delivered and discrepancies should be corrected as soon as possible. There is no real recourse. This will probably be the last time I order. The Bean Pie was delicious! The custard was sweet and decadent, and the crust was firm but slightly soft toasty. The Shaba’s Company logo label sticker on the outside was a nice touch too. Also, an A+ for packaging! It was wrapped very securely and there were no spills, leaks, or broken seals.
The website was very easy to navigate, and the prices were listed clearly without any glitching. However, it’s VERY CRUCIAL & IMPORTANT that Shaba’s includes USPS tracking so that they can keep a consistent customer basis. Guessing when your pies are arriving is not a good feeling as a paid customer. This especially important during COVID-19 because orders could be delayed, which is understandable. However, customers should be able to track their order(s), especially if the pies is being delivered by a company like USPS where they offer tracking services. If Shaba’s adds the USPS tracking feature, the website will be perfect:)

I never had a butternut squash pie before and was surprised at how good it was.
I have been looking for a pie company that delivers fast and is economical. I tried so many other companies and just for example, one company tried to charge $100 for shipping one item. It was outrageous. I will definitely be ordering more pies from this shop.
